Equality and Diversity week

During our equality and diversity, week the whole school shared the book, "It's ok to be different". We then produced artwork of a similar style and wrote messages to offer people support and help them feel accepted and included in our school.

Carol Singing

On Tuesday 6th December members of the Porters Grange choir walked to the Maranatha Care Home in York Road and performed a selection of Carols and Christmas songs to the residents. After the performance the lovely staff there provided refreshments for us to enjoy. A great time was had by all.

Dodgeball Tournament

Pupils in years 5 and 6 competed in the borough dodgeball tournament on Wednesday 30th November at Garons Leisure Centre for the first time. We were really pleased to take along two teams to the event with the B team competing in the morning and the A team in the afternoon. Both teams did very well and won some of their games, but most importantly they all had a great time. All of the pupils have really enjoyed learning dodgeball in lessons and this is definitely an event we will go to again. Well done to everyone involved.
