Children in Need Day was a “Spotacular” success at Porters Grange Primary School. Leading up to the day the children and staff worked hard making, baking and decorating tasty treats for our Bake Sale. Hundreds of parents eagerly snapped up the results and within 20 minutes every treat had been sold!
In addition children were able to take part in some “Spotacular” painting. Over the course of the day spots were seen to be appearing on a playground wall! Turquoise, pink, purple, yellow and green all painted by the children in return for a donation to this great cause.
Fortunately none of the paint made it onto their pyjamas as in honour of Pudsey, staff and children came to school in their PJs! Overall a magnificent £432 was raised by the children and staff of Porters Grange Primary School.
