Year 3 and 4 Girl’s Football

On Thursday 17th January, a team of girls headed off to the Len Forge Centre to participate in a girls-only football tournament. Although they only had a small amount of practice time, it did make a difference and the girls did their talking on the pitch. From the start it was clear to see that they knew exactly where to position themselves and they played as a team in each match. Everyone got stuck in and were willing to run and tackle non-stop despite it being a cold day. All of the girls clearly enjoyed themselves and were raring to go again after each match. Confidence grew and that showed as the results improved. Well done to all involved - everyone should be proud as they all represented the school brilliantly!
