On Friday 24th January, the school council were visited by representatives from Focal Point in Southend to help them with the 99 by 19 project. The council had been set the task of asking questions to their classes about what they like doing in Southend and what they wished they were able to do. The children gave some great ideas to help the project such as craft workshops and even sky diving.
Year 6 pupils worked hard in PSHE lessons to review our anti-bullying policy for children. They then shared the message around the school by delivering a presentation to each class, which included a role play and question and answer session to explain what bullying is and how it should be tackled. Well done year 6!
On Wednesday 22nd of January, Porters Grange received some very special visitors from Southend United Football Club. First team players Sam Mantom and Charlie Kelman came to the school for a special question and answer session with our Year Four pupils.
