The bowling team delivered a fabulous effort at their competition on Tuesday 20th January, demonstrating focus, teamwork and enthusiasm from start to finish. Year 3/4 Football Success
Year 3 and 4 pupils put in an excellent performance at their football competition on Friday 16th January, showing great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event. A huge well done to Diesel, Adebayo, Fredy, Zayan, Desmond, Godfred and Geoffrey, who represented Porters Grange extremely well. Beach Visit
On Tuesday, Seahorse Class enjoyed a fantastic visit to the beach, and what a memorable time they had! We were greeted by a fresh, breezy morning that certainly blew the cobwebs away and set the tone for an exciting day of learning and exploration. Outdoor Learning
Last week’s groups revisited the suncatcher activity. They proudly remembered how their suncatchers needed to be placed in the freezer, as the colder outdoor temperatures weren’t quite enough to freeze them. It was wonderful to see the children’s reactions—full of awe and wonder—as they observed the change from a liquid to a solid. Year 3 and 4 Families Enjoy Festive Mince Pie Workshop
This week, we were delighted to welcome the parents of our Year 3 and Year 4 children to a festive Mince Pie Making Workshop. Led by Chef David and his wonderful Pabulum catering team, the session gave families the opportunity to work together, learn new skills, and create their very own delicious mince pies. Show & Tell
At Porters Grange, we value Reading for Pleasure because we know it builds confidence, celebrates children’s individual reading choices, and nurtures lifelong reading habits. Last week, Orca class enjoyed a fantastic Show and Tell session where pupils shared their current reads and enthusiastically recommended them to their classmates.
