On Friday 24th January, the school council were visited by representatives from Focal Point in Southend to help them with the 99 by 19 project. The council had been set the task of asking questions to their classes about what they like doing in Southend and what they wished they were able to do. The children gave some great ideas to help the project such as craft workshops and even sky diving.

I read the school council post, and it was nice to see kids talking about what they want to learn and do at school with help from Focal Point people. It reminded me of a time I was so busy with homework I wished I could pay someone to take my online algebra class so I could focus on a big science project and still join a club day. It made me think about how important it is to balance work and fun.
