Year 5 Healthy Lifestyle
This half term Year 5 have been focusing on the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle and looking after their own diet and activity levels. They have completed a 5 week programme working with 'Active Life'. We had a representative from the company come into the school each week to deliver a number of workshops which included classroom based theory and physical activities. The programme focussed on helping children to understand how to keep their hearts healthy, the dangers of too much sugar and issues around body confidence and self esteem.
