Year 5 Netball tournament

On Wednesday 26th April, Porters Grange took part in a netball tournament at Garons Leisure Centre. Eight students went along for the morning and represented the school. We showed great team spirit and sportsmanship which did not go unnoticed from the referees and the other teams. We played a total of three matches, losing the first, narrowly losing the second and then winning our final game. Unfortunately that was not enough to take us through to the next round. The children were not put off by that nor the poor weather. So much so that they were all asking for more matches in the future!
